Can collars work outside mobile network coverage? expand_more
Yes. Depending on model, devices can use GSM, Iridium satellite, LoRa, or Kineis-supported transmission paths. GSM devices buffer data when outside coverage and transmit once the device returns to network coverage.
Can devices be reconfigured after deployment? expand_more
Yes. Full two-way communication allows users to adjust data collection, alarm, and configuration settings through SDM, subject to connectivity and device configuration.
How can users access tracking data? expand_more
Data can be accessed through SDM, the MiSavannah mobile app, Google Earth network links, EarthRanger, Movebank, and API integrations depending on account setup.
What training is available? expand_more
Savannah Tracking offers free online tutorial sessions and refresher sessions, with optional on-site training where clients cover travel, accommodation, and meal costs.
